An elderly couple named Willka and Phaxsi (Sun and Moon) live in a remote part of the Peruvian Andes. They await the return of their son who has left for the city.

Dir/Scr ÓSCAR CATACORA was an Aymara filmmaker, screenwriter, producer, and cinematographer best known for the drama films Wiñaypacha and Yana-Wara. During the production of the latter, he tragically died of appendicitis at the age of 34. His uncle Tito Catacora, who had encouraged his nephew’s interests by accompanying him to filmmaking classes, completed work on Óscar’s two in-progress films posthumously.
