Dragon Tree: Arosi Incantations and Songs is a collection of transcriptions and translations of traditional song texts in the Arosi language published in Port Moresby in 1972 as part of the prolific Papua Pocket Poems series distributed through the author’s alma mater, the University of Papua New Guinea.

JOHN SAUNANA, born 1945 in Arosi on the island of Makira in the Solomon Islands, was a writer and politician best known for his 1980 novel The Alternative.
